Mask Buddies / Ear Savers patterns

Here is our YKAM pattern for a mask buddy / ear saver that we have tried and tested well. We like this one because it can be several sizes by using the buttons. There are MANY different patterns and You Tube tutorials and all types are greatly appreciated. We will have a collection point on Monday morning 14th Dec at Mood Cafe MQ 9.30am for an hour or so. Adjustable Mask Buddy / Ear Saver SL ST - Slip Stitch CH- Chain HDC - Half Double Crochet (US) (HDT = Half Double Treble in UK) SC - Single Crochet (US) (DC in UK) Start with a Slip Knot and leave a long tail to use to secure your buttons once completed. Making Panels for Blankets using the Figure 8 - Stockinette Stitch

Have you have been looming beanies and feeling excited and confident and ready to try something new ... this post is for you! I would like to introduce you to the Figure 8 Stitch that we are using to make panels and then stitching them together to make lovely blankets. (The blanket below has not yet been washed and will lay flat once washed). LOOMS. You can use any straight loom. Today's post is using the small 26 peg loom. We connect three of these panels together to make a crib blanket for the NICU. You can also use the largest loom 62 pegs and that will make one solid piece.
